Do you own the villa?
Yes. I own the villa with my husband Darren and I rent it out to help cover the running costs.
Do I need a car?
No not nessecarrily. Guia is only a short walk away and has loads of restaurants, 2 supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, cafes and some small shops. However you will need a car to visit the beaches, it depends on what you want from your holiday. I can arrange car hire should you require it or I can also arrange a taxi transfer please call for details.
Is the villa suitable for wheelchairs?
The villa has not had any special adaptations but it is all on one level and outside there is only one step down from the terrace to the garden and pool area.
How deep is the pool?
The pool is 1.1m deep at the shallow end and 2.2m deep at the deep end. It is a large pool 10m x 5m.
Can I arrange pool heating once I have arrived at the villa?
No. Pool heating must be booked and paid for 10 weeks in advance.
Do I need to book the pool heating when I book the villa?
No. You can make up your mind about the pool heating at anytime after booking the villa up until your balance is due.
Once your balance becomes due 10 weeks before departure then you must advise us if you want pool heating added.
Do you have a cot?
Yes there is travel cot for guests use. There is also a highchair, booster seat and buggy all available free of charge.
Is there a safe?
Yes there is a safe which is free to use.
When can I arrive at the villa and what time do I need to vacate?
The villa will generally be available from 2pm onwards. On departure day you must vacate by 10am. If these times are going to cause you problems please let me know as I have some suggestions.
Do you have air conditioning and heating?
Yes there is air/con and heating in all 3 bedrooms and the living/dining room. There is no extra charge for this.
Which is the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is Faro and this is about 40km away. It should only take you 30-40 minutes to drive from the airport. There are many airlines flying from all over the UK to Faro and flying time is around 2.5 - 3 hours. Please contact me if you want web addresses for airlines.
What do I need to do to book the villa with you?
Firstly you will need to contact me either by telephone or e/mail to check the villa is still available. Dates shown as booked on the availability calendar have had deposits received but any weeks on hold or awaiting deposit cheques will still be shown as available. Once I have confirmed availability I will send you a booking form either by e/mail or in the post, whichever you prefer. Simply return the booking form with your deposit cheque within 7 days and I will then send you a booking confirmation. All paymets received by me are confirmed on receipt by e/mail.
